I've hit 12 weeks!! Three more weeks til we find out the baby's sex via an early ultrasound. My stomach is widening but since the baby is only over two inches, I'm sure it's almost all lovely water weight.
Last weekend I had quite a bit of abdominal pain. Having stopped the shots, it made me nervous. The pain spread to my back and felt just like I was going to start my period- hence going to the OB as a walk in. Apparently that confusing sensation can be normal, and I haven't been drinking enough water to top it off. I drink water almost exclusively now, so I've been pushing it even when I don't feel thirsty.
Once I knew the very familiar period cramps were okay, I decided to finally start exercising again. Between worries over implantation, sore knotty hips, and all day nausea I haven't walked since November 9th per my fitness tracker. Oops. This week brought milder weather which gave me peaceful lunch break strolls.
I'm happy to report some updates. The four of us pregnant from November remain pregnant with one healthy baby each. Please pray for one lady whose blood pocket is much peskier than mine and causes frequent worries. Also, It's beta time for the January transfers. One friend has had a positive yesterday with a repeat on Monday and another has her first on Monday. I'm so hopeful for both of them!

Oh gosh, how exciting to be 12 weeks!!!! I am so thrilled for you...but can totally imagine how every twinge and cramp incites panic. Glad you are able to do some walking, though!!
ReplyDeleteThanks. It's pretty depressing to be such a slug but hopefully I can get back to some activity.
