We actually had our agency officially place us on hold on April 11, since we heard back that everything was finalized with our donors selecting us and because I was beginning the medication. Our caseworker said we could stay active if/until we become pregnant, but we've spent most of our adoption savings on embryo adoption, so it has to be one or the other at this point.
But today's the 12 month mark from when we were homestudy approved and so hopeful that an expectant mom would look at our profile book or see our pictures and video on the agency website.
A lot can change in one year. Sometimes not as many changes as you'd want.
And I hope a lot has changed a year from now.
