Thumbs Up

I had to break out my pill cutter to get my doses ready for the next few days.

My 40 minute drive to the local fertility clinic was a leisurely 1 hour and 10 minutes yesterday morning. Nashville rush hour + huge marathon in town this weekend=just exercise patience. I always feel a lot of anxiety going to this clinic, and I thought I could cry for no good reason at all just going to the exam room. I was happy for the nurse to say my ultrasound looked fine, other than my numerous PCOS cysts (which won't interfere with the cycle).

I had to wait til the afternoon to get the official results from my clinic nurse. I was pretty annoyed when the nurse contacted me that the fertility clinic still hadn't send results late in the day... but after hunting someone down, the results finally made it into the right hands.

My estrogen level was low at 41 (should be between 70-200+ for this point in my cycle if I were not medicated), and my lining was around 3.9 mm (low, which is good). I really could have skipped the bloodwork all together and told them I have had a couple days of ongoing hot flashes, so I was pretty confident I'd be measuring just fine.

Since everything went well at my appointment, I can begin adding e.strace to my regimen. This is the same medication I recently took for my mock cycle. The first few days I will take a half of a tablet twice a day and gradually increase until I am taking a full tablet three times a day. I will be taking l.upron shots along with it for a little over another week.
